Made in Banaras was founded by Loretta, who brought with her a legacy of decades-old tradition in the tourism industry. Deeply committed to preserving and celebrating the rich craft heritage of Banaras, Loretta was inspired by local weavers to take a bold step and create Made in Banaras. Her vision was to establish a global artisanal luxury brand that would remain rooted in the heart of India.
In 2018, Made in Banaras began with a simple yet powerful belief: the craftsmanship of Banaras' artisans is among the finest in the world.
